Malibu
Malibu, California is known for its coastline, open space, and a slower pace that feels removed from the rest of Los Angeles. Stretching along the Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu offers a mix of scenic beaches, hillside views, and quiet neighborhoods that attract both visitors and locals.
Whether you’re visiting for a day or planning a longer stay, Malibu blends natural beauty with accessibility—especially for travelers arriving through Los Angeles International Airport.
Beaches and Coastal Views

Malibu’s beaches are some of the most recognizable in California. Each offers a different experience depending on what you’re looking for.
Zuma Beach is known for its wide, open shoreline and easy access. El Matador State Beach stands out for its cliffs and rock formations, especially at sunset. Near the pier, Surfrider Beach attracts surfers and visitors looking for a classic coastal setting.
Tips for Visiting
Arriving early helps with parking, especially on weekends. Bringing essentials like water and sunscreen can make your visit more comfortable. Checking tide conditions can also improve access to certain beaches.
Outdoor Activities and Nature
Malibu extends into the Santa Monica Mountains, offering trails and scenic overlooks beyond the shoreline.
Hikes like Solstice Canyon and Escondido Falls provide a mix of coastal and mountain scenery.
A Unique Balance
One of Malibu’s standout features is how easily you can move between environments. You can start your day by the ocean and end it in the mountains without traveling far.
Dining and Local Spots
Malibu’s dining scene reflects its surroundings—relaxed, scenic, and centered around quality.
The Malibu Pier is a popular destination for both visitors and locals. Restaurants along the coast range from casual cafés to upscale dining, many offering ocean views that enhance the experience.

Transportation Options
Travelers typically choose between rideshare, an airport shuttle, or more direct options like a private town car or black car service. For group travel or special occasions, a limo can provide additional comfort and space.

I traveled to LA for the Steelers game against the Chargers. I’ve never attended an event at SoFi Stadium but had heard about the nightmares of getting to and from the stadium. With that in mind I didn’t want to drive to the stadium so I rented car service from Ride N’ Relax. Booking with Patrick, the owner, was quick, easy and reasonable. The day of the game Patrick was very punctual and got us to the stadium in no time, we were located in Santa Monica, without any problems. Patrick had told me to purchase parking in the Orange lot so we could leave the stadium grounds easily. Once we left the stadium Patrick dropped a pin so we could easily find where he had positioned the car. We found the car quickly and was off the premises and on the road home in less than five minutes. I haven’t been able to leave any stadium quicker than we did with Patrick. I highly recommend Ride N’ Relax for your trips to SoFi Stadium.
